New Year New Start

I am supposed to have a New Year's Resolution this year (2008) but I didn't feel like having one when I started writing one last year so at the end of the day I ended up with nothing on the list. I guess I am in the mood of having one for the year of 2009 and that's of course, the reason why I am writing this post to inform you of my New Year's Resolution AND to invite you to push (literally and/or figuratively) me to achieve these goals.

In no particular order (never mind it's now in alphabetical order):

  • Be an early riser
  • Be less apathetic (but not pathetic)
  • Be more proactive and manage my time better
  • Gain a few more pounds on my skin-and-bones body (and then get fit/fitter)
  • Get a part-time job/internship (will not be looking for any until later in the school year though)
  • Give back
  • Keep doing the "right things"
  • Reduce stress
  • Stop "lying" :)
  • Update this blog more often
  • and more ... (I'll add more things over the next few days)

Inputs are welcomed! I need more ideas (so that the chances of having something actually done would be higher)! :)

My browser hates me and I'm gonna kill it if it messes up my attempt to comment here again. Third time typing. Patience. Gosh, I swear I was just thinking about to do one of those new year's resolutions for myself a couple of minutes before coming here. Yours has way more stuff on, though. Some in common. :D Best of luck accomplishing all of that! Ah, do you mind me putting a link to your blog in mine so I can come here more often? :)
Noble goals indeed. You're very good at doing the right thing. Keep up the good work! Happy New Year.
What a good boy :) Happy New Years too.
hahahaha you took my suggestion. you know you will be having a hard time keeping to that. lol =P but i hope you will achieve all of these. oh yea put down 600 pictures.
@All Thanks for all the Happy New Year's :) This isn't really my Happy New Year post but thanks anyway. Happy New Year to all of you as well :) @Becky Short answer: sure. You can find the longer answer on Facebook ;) @Carey Yup, I suppose that I have been doing that pretty good this year and hopefully continuing it next year and the years and years after. "Learn from mistakes" is good but I think I will use that as a backup plan. "Prevention is better than cure" hehe :D @Yuen Yeah I am sure I will have a real hard time doing that. By doing that I will change myself DRASTICALLY and you know it that I will. Perhaps I will just limit myself because the "old" Haochi is the fun Haochi right? :)
You are "fun Haochi" no matter how much you change because it's the choices you make that makes you who you are and it just adds on to the Haochi that I met in algebra II class. you never stop to amaze me and leave me speechless. i will be behind you 114% of your resolution!!! "Gan Ba Tei!"
Well, I hate to be the one to say it, but you certainly aren't keeping up with your blog like you said you would lol. I am, however, very impressed by your list. Not many teenagers are able to even appear to be wise enough to understand the importance of the things on that list. Anyway, Happy Late New Year! http://patienceloveandpleasure.blogspot.com/
