It's Move-In Day

I just moved into my dorm room at the Scholars West House today. It was a long and rainy day. I came down to campus early so I didn't have to deal with the heavy traffic and everything went very smoothly, except that it started raining when I was going out to get food.

I didn't get to meet my roommate until later in the day. He seemed like a likeable fellow so hopefully we won't have any problems and most likely we won't.

Home sick is definitely not a problem for me, I guess living close to home helps (same city) but I don't think it would have mattered have I went to school a few states away.

I guess I will consider myself an Buckeye now. :)

ps: I've been posting more frequently recently.

Sorry to be such a nostalgic fool, but I'm living vicariously through you and am so excited as you begin this next chapter of your already accomplished life. I remember vividly my feelings the day I moved into my dorm room at Eastern Illinois University in 1983. I remember the chill in the air and my first impressions of my roommmate (not nearly as good as yours!). I'd wish you luck, but you don't need it. Your attitude, intellect and persona are all you need. The world is your oyster, and I for one am thrilled to be watching from the sidelines. Now go to the union bookstore and get your scarlet and gray scarf. Don't spend too much time on High Street, but above all, have fun! Disciplina in civitatem!!
Ah, that's all so cool. I want to go to college too. A few states away, please. C: I hope you have fun! College entrance tests are only in November here in Brazil. And the new layout is very neat. :D
